Wizkid has quite recently won the Best Male Artiste in Western Africa at the progressing Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2017, and Tiwa Savage the Best Female Artiste in Western Africa.
This is coming after Davido was declared the Best Artiste in Africa at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) 2017 in London.
